Free Job Fair Set for Feb. 11, 2006
At Pasadena Conference Center
The Pasadena Conference Center in Pasadena, California is the site of 11th Annual Entertainment Industry Career Job Fair hosted by The Imagen Foundation, and sponsored by ABC7, E! Entertainment Network and HBO.
Offered at no charge to the general public, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from some of the largest employers in the entertainment industry. Participating companies already confirmed include CBS/UPN, El Proyecto Worksource, Fox Television Stations, Fox Entertainment Group, KCET, KNBC/Universal/Telemundo, LATV, Nielsen Media Research, Paramount Pictures, Streetlights, and Workplace Hollywood.
Hour long scheduled sessions begin promptly at 9 a.m. to which attendees will be admitted in groups of no more than 300 per session. The final session is scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m.
Job Fair organizers recommend job seekers dress professionally and bring along several copies of their resume. They also note that this event is not for casting purposes, and is strictly for people interested in exploring a variety of job opportunities within the entertainment industry.
