On the house search...

Last week (? - it feels so long ago) we spoke to my mom's realtor who is also a mortgage broker. She geave us a lot of good info, but she can't do FHA loans. Miss [livejournal.com profile] fyrebringer recommended the broker she used. We have an appointment with him on Monday morning. *woot!*

Hopefully then, we'll have a clear plan of action and we can start looking at houses.

Oh, and Daddy is in town for the next 10 days or so, staying on our couch. *yay!*

BOL on the real property thang. We're trying to decide now on whether a nearby house is a sound investment.

I don't know for sure that we want to go FHA, but we want a broker who can help us look at FHA and conventional. Therefore a broker who can't do FHA is no good to us.

my brother and his wife just started escrow on a house a couple days ago... they LOVE their realtor if you don't have one of those yet. Do you?

btw I can't tell you how embarrassing it is that my baby brother is about to be a homeowner and I'm like 10 years away from even thinking about it.
