ya know. it doesn't really matter who you get your loan through as long as you can get the loan. our loan has changed hands three times since we bought our house. i hate BofA and WF too. passionately. and BofA owns my loan now. but i have to give them credit where due. i couldn't qualify for a refi using the documentation route i did for the first loan because i made less income on paper last year. BofA is a big bank and can do direct lending instead of underwriting. they were able to qualify me and refi when my morgage broker couldn't through other independent companies. sometimes big banks have uses.
